| It was raining cats and dogs when we went to pick up the creamy 330Ci. BMW were reluctant to let us loose in it immediately so we were forced (under duress) to drive the lovely 330d first! Revved hard at the lights, the 330Ci chassis flexes like a predator ready to pounce into explosive action. The torrential rain had no effect on its impressive ability to get all 231 horses galloping at once! I want one... |
You know that this is going to be fun when, standing outside, you hear the engine fire up for the first time. A deep-throated, purring growl emanates from the twin chrome exhausts. This car is a pussy-cat whilst waiting at traffic lights but instantly transforms into a panther when the lights go green. Make sure that the next petrol station is nearby though! |
The 330Ci is so fast that it feels like a private jet. Every stab of the accelerator fixed a demented smile on my face and caused my passengers to start shaking. "Guys, can you hear that engine?", I screamed as the speed limit came and went in an accelerator prod. This beautiful toy was so much fun that I almost forgot it wasn't mine and I was less than pleased when I had to give it back... |
