| High hopes for S were dashed by Tiptronic box fitted to test car – gear changes were anodyne, acceleration felt blunted, excitement was dulled, 2.7ltr model much more satisfying. Manual S within sight of 911… | All the good bits from the standard Boxster with a great big engine thrown in. What more could you want? ...manual gear change please! Nevertheless, this is one of the few cars that can get away with a bright yellow paint job. |
